Oliver Childs

Oliver is a seasoned auctioneer and property auction expert and has worked in the real estate auction sector for 30 years.

Prior to joining Sanderson Weatherall Oliver was managing director of BidX1’s UK business and before that he was national head of auctions at Lambert Smith Hampton.

Oliver honed his skills as an in-room auctioneer, and since 2015 he has been recognised as a pioneer of online auctions and held one of the first of these events in the UK in 2016 for a FTSE 100 utility company.

He acts for a wide variety of clients for the sale of their commercial and residential properties including receivership, administrators, mortgagees, housing associations, local and central government, charities, probate, utility companies and property companies, amongst others.

Oliver is married and has two children.
